Announcement Text from the Acıpayam District Election Board Presidency

Within the framework of the procedures and principles outlined in the regulation prepared pursuant to Articles 83 and 84, paragraph 3 of the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges Law No. 5174: In the letter of the Acıpayam Chamber of Commerce dated 09/09/2026 and numbered 676, it was requested that the chamber council and board elections be held, and after review, the request is deemed appropriate; The Acıpayam Chamber of Commerce Board Elections will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the Acıpayam Chamber of Commerce service building, with voting starting at 10:00 and ending at 17:00. (Regulation Art. 1) The list of members eligible to vote and be elected for the chamber board elections will be published 3 full business days before, on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.It will be posted and will be taken down from the posting on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 5:00 PM, and objections regarding the lists can be made within these dates. (Regulation Article 11) 3- On the election day, it is mandatory for voters to prove their identity with a document provided by the chamber, exchange, or official institution. (Regulation Article 18) 4- Representatives of legal entities who are natural persons must, according to the registered articles of association of the legal entity they represent, have the authority to represent and carry out binding transactions, and they must present the authorization certificate (Supplementary phrase Official Gazette 04/10/2021- 31450) or the registration certificate issued by the Trade Registry within the last 90 days during voting. A photocopy of the presented (Amended phrase 04/10/2021-31450) registration certificate is delivered to the chairman of the ballot box where the vote is cast. Trade Registry Offices The election day, October 3, 2026, will be open. (Regulation Art. 18) For the real person representatives of individuals and branches, an authorization certificate is issued according to the following procedures: a) Requests for an authorization certificate must be made in writing. b) Only one representative can be issued an authorization certificate. c) If there are representatives with joint authority, the petition must specify which representative the authorization certificate is for and must be signed by all joint representatives. d) According to the High Election Board's decision dated 16/05/2012 and numbered 2012/262, it is mandatory for authorization certificates to include the Turkish ID numbers.
