TOBB BREATH LOAN

TOBB BREATH LOAN

TOBB Breath Credit comes into effect for the 8th time. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “As TOBB and 365 Chambers- Exchanges, we are mobilizing all our resources.” The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Breath Credit will start again as of June 1, 2021. In order to contribute to the elimination of the financing problems of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the Nefes Credit project, which was realized with the contributions of our chambers/exchanges in the previous periods, is restarted. The loan to be used by our members will be 6 months with no principal and interest payment, and then a total maturity of 18 months with a repayment of 12 months in equal installments. The gross interest rate of the loan to be used will be 17.50% per annum. The banks with which the protocol has been signed will not demand any costs or commissions from the members except for the 0.03% (three in ten thousand) bail application fee and commission to be paid to KGF and the 1% bank commission. Members whose turnover in 2020 is 25% lower than their turnover in 2019 will be able to benefit from the loan. This condition will not be sought for companies established in 2019 and later. The condition of loss of turnover will be controlled by the lending bank. Enterprises with a turnover of less than 1 million TL in 2020 will be able to use a maximum of 50,000 TL, and enterprises with a turnover between 1 million TL and 10 million TL (inclusive) will be able to use a maximum of 200,000 TL. TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu said: “As TOBB and 365 Chambers and Exchanges, we put all our resources at the disposal of our members with Nefes Credit. We are reviving the TOBB Nefes Loan in order to meet the financing needs. Our businesses that want to benefit from the loan can also get the membership certificate as an e-document online from TOBB or chamber-exchange systems without going to the chambers-exchanges.” Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that he believes the project will meet an important need, and said, “The people who enabled the project to be implemented, are thanked by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Minister of Treasury and Finance Lütfi Elvan and Minister of Trade Dr. I would like to thank Mehmet Muş and our chambers and exchanges for mobilizing their resources for the project, banks and KGF, representatives of the financial sector.”
